About Me

Elliot Rezek

I am a 2024 Graduate and Communications Fellow of Elon University where I studied computer science and media analytics with a minor in data science. I am currently pursuing a Master’s in Computer Science with a focus in data science from North Carolina State University. My estimated graduation date is May 2026.

Through my university coursework and projects I have gained extensive experience with classical and modern machine learning/AI techniques and expanded my knowledge of statistics. Most recently I have used my skills volunteering with the non-profit Benevolence Farm using regression to estimate the number of seeds they need to buy based on data from previous years to maximize profits and minimize waste.

Languages

I have worked with mostly Python, R, and SQL in my coursework and internships. Some sample python projects can be found on my GitHub and Rpubs. The majority of my work has been based around machine learning and statistical analysis. I am proficient with many Python and R libraries used for data science, including Pandas, NumPy, TensorFlow, Scikit-Learn, Matplotlib, ggplot2, Plotly, seaborn, and tidyverse.

Tools

Tools I have used throughout my professional and academic career include: Tableau, Git, Google Colab, Jupyter Notebook, Microsoft Excel, and SWI Prolog. I am currently pursuring certifications in AWS and ArcGIS.
